My second generation baby boy had grown into Ahirukutchi. Unfortunately I did not find the time to take a picture of him...sigh...they grow up so fast:). Anyway, He has now grown into his teenage stage: a cute Young Mametchi. I love looking at his stand-by animation. He jumps up happily every now and then, bless. Here's a close-up of him:
I also took this picture a few minutes ago, when I pressed the B button to check on the tree, the sky was a beautiful red. I took a picture of it cos it looked so cool. I had never seen the sky like this. It's usually snowing but today the weather was mostly cloudy, which was a nice change.
That's it for today. Till next time :D

Hi! That's wonderful! I'm waiting for my TMGC+C to arrive and can't wait! Do you know if ther's a way to pause the TamaColor? Thanks!
There isn't really a pause function on the TMGC+C. But pausing is still possible. you just go to the clock and press A and C buttons at the same time.
i have the same tama color but i got a scratch on the screen,... how is yourse doing so far?!
No scratches on mine so far. Sorry to hear about the scratch. There are products you can buy to remove scratches from screens. I once bought a tube of paste to remove scratches from my cell phone screen. It also worked on Tamgotchi screens.
Btw, my young Mametchi has grown into a Kuromametchi :) I'll be posting pictures soon.
How much harder do you think it would be to play a plus color in Japanese if you only know minimal Japanese?
I didn't know they had color ones and they look so epic!! :D
I want one... do you think it'll be released in the US at any point soon?
I read it was a Japan exclusive
I don't know any Japanese but I'm not having any problems with this Tamagotchi. It's really easy to figure out...it works exactly like other tamagotchis. The menus are all in Japanese but you'll quickly learn how to identify each item by sight.
Unfortunately the Tamagotchi + color is currently only available in Japan.
Oh really?
It looked like that was the case from your pictures.
I know where I can buy it online, but its about $80
How much was yours and where did you get it?
I bought it from Jason' a store and cost me $100 (price + shipping).
WOW. O___O
You didn't shop around did you?
About about to get mine for between 30 and 50. O___O
I bought it about six months ago and that was the cheapest I could find back then. I knew that the price would go down eventually but this tamagotchi looked so cool I couldn't wait to get it ;)
That's so winner
I really didn't want to spend the money, but like you I just cant wait XD
It looks so sweet!!!!
How are the battery life's like? Is the Color using the same single thin tablet-like battery like those in v3, 4 etc?
Does the battery in Color get used up really fast?
the TMGC+C comes with 2 AAA batteries. so far they've held up. And I think that battery consumption is not really an issue since the screen is LED (as opposed to LCD) so it does not consume much power. Also, when the tamagotchi is idle the LED screen is completely turned off so it only consumes battery while you are using the TMGC+C. I also turn off the sound most of the time so as to consume less battery power.
: )
Thank you.
So that means the tama color is pretty much larger than the b/w v4 and v5. : ) Could be a good thing.
How big is the unit in cm? And the screen? : )
the screen is the same size as previous tamagotchis but it obviously has a larger resolution now. However the unit is much ticker than previous tamas... It's almost 3cm tick. I think that's a little too much.
MY TAMA+COLOR JUST CAME IN!!
how do u put in the batteries and turn it on???? i am so sad that i cant figure it out!!
There is a small button at the back , it looks like the reset button. You'll have to press it with a pen or something pointy. Let me know how it goes
I just got a Tamagotchi Color yesterday and I've started seeing scratches on the screen. What paste did you use on your cell phone and tamagotchi screens?
