Tamagotchi + Color - Gorippatchi

Sorry for the lack of posts guys. Many of you have been sending me emails asking me why I haven't been making any posts lately...well I've been uber busy unfortunately (I like it better when I don't have anything to do ;P). ugh I hate studying, I really really HATE studying! (-_-). I can't wait for these exams to be over. Anyway, I've been taking pictures and saving them for when I had some free time to update this blog.

I'll start by mentioning the Tamagotchi Music star. Well since last time I got another unhealthy adult character: Gozarutchi :(. I have no idea why I got him since I've been taking really good care of him. It was really disappointing and a real let down. I've decided to pause the Tamagotchi Music Star for now. I might be logging him again in the future, but now is definetely not the time. As I've already said, I'm too busy right now to be taking care of such a high maintenance pet. However if you have any questions about the Tamagotchi Music star, don't hesitate to leave me messages. I always make sure that I answer most of the comments that I get.
Anywyay, before I pulled out the battery I took a quick picture of him:


And I have some good news: I finally got Gorippatchi!! Oh I was so happy to finally get her. As some of you might recall I've had a Memetchi. Well a few days ago she became Otokitchi and after she got married she had a baby girl :D The baby girl grew up immediatley into Gorippatchi (she skipped the child and teen stage alltogether). I took some pictures of her:

I've also decided to put the TMGC+C on hold for now. The reason for this is because I fianlly managed to get my hands on a Familitchi/V5 :D. It's second hand but still in perfect conditions. I bought it from eBay along with 6 other tamagotchis (all second hand but they all work) , all for just $20 :D. This is a picture of my V5:

After seeing the new designs of the Tamagotchi Music Star, I have to admit that the design of my V5 is sooo last year...and a bit too girly for my taste. But anyways, it's the V5 and I've been wanting to get one for so long now. I can't beleive that I finally got one :). I'm also adding a picture of one of the tamagotchis that arrived with the V5:

It's a P1 (from 1997). I love vintage tamagotchis :D This is the very very first version of tamagotchis: the one that started it all. They're so simple yet so cute.

Hey, I've just finnished another Tamagotchi Familitchi character in 3D. This is Bomutchi...I don't know if they have changed the name in the English versions...can anyone clarify this? Nanaki I'm counting on you for this ;) hehe

Another 3D image I made, this time it's Hottotiitchi from Tamagotchi Familitchi. I love the incredibly original ideas that Bandai comes up with. Ain't she cute ;) hehe.
For those who don't have a lot of imagination, she is supposed to be a hot cup of tea. I admit that I could have done a better job with this image but I think that all in all it's not that bad. It had a lot of small details and I spent a lot of time on them. Anyway enjoy and check back soon.
Tamagotchi V5 have not arrived in Malta yet :( I sent an email to another toyshop today and the shop owner responded back and he told me that Bandai has not yet started selling the Tamagotchi V5 ! o_o What a lie. ofcourse I then sent him a link to Bandai's website which clearely showed him that they're actually already selling Tamagotchi V5. Oh well, they say that patience is a virtue but now I'm starting to get worried that they won't ship Familitchi to Malta after all (they did not ship the V4.5 here!!). I'm starting to consider asking my brother to get a credit card and buy me a tamagotchi v5 from ebay...for now I'll just wait till the end of this month. Familitchi - Potetchi

As promised I have created another Tamagotchi V5 character: This is Potetchi, I think it's supposed to be a potato, lol. What do you guys think? Came out good didn't it? I would love some feedback on the images I'm creating so pls leave comments. I'll try and do another 3D image of a Tamagotchi V5 character tomorrow if I find the time.

Familitchi Characters

I've noticed that there are many people who are googling "Familitchi Characters" (I've found out thanks to google analytics), so here are all the characters you'll find in Familitchi / Tamagotchi V5 / Famitama. The names are in Japanese but you'll find the names in English by clicking here. P.S. Apart from these characters, there is a secret family with space theme (a character that looks like a planet (Planetchi), a star, a moon, a rock...I don't know what else, guess I'll find out when I get my Tamagotchi V5. Those characters are not included in the above list). There are ONLY 2 ways to get the space characters:

1. Mate a Tamagotchi Familitchi (with infrared) from a specific geographical zone with another Fanilitchi from another geographical zone. For example: mate a Japanese Familitchi with an American Familitchi...or mate a European Familitchi with a US Familitchi. The resulting offspring will be from the Space-theme characters.
2. Another way to get them is by mating your tamagotchi with Planetchi. This is a character which looks like a planet. You may occasionally find this character in the dating channel. Otokitchi will offer this character as a potential mate and after you let your tamagotchi mate with Planetchi, the resulting offspring will be from the Space-theme characters...I hope this helps you guys, and good luck getting the space characters. ;)

Familitchi

Here's Mattaritchi. I created him today, he's a teen (or a toddler? I'm not sure) character from Tamagotchi V5 / Familitchi. He looks kinda sweet in a creepy way lol. What do you guys think? No word from the local toystore yet so I'm still waiting to buy my /familitchi and I have no idea when they'll be available here :( I'll keep you posted. In the meantime I'll be creating 3D characters from Tamagotchi V5 and posting them here for you guys. So keep visiting! :D See ya.

Familitchi

This is a new image I created today, I had almost forgotten how to use TrueSpace but I think I got the hang of it again. This is Korokotchi, a new tamagotchi character found in the Tamagotchi V5 / Familitchi / Famitama. I think that I'll start creating the new tamagotchi characters from now on and posting them here, so check back soon for new 3D images of the Familitchi characters :). For those wondering, no, I still don't have the Tamagotchi V5. I have no idea when they will be available here, but hopefully it'll be soon, cos I'm fed up of waiting grrrrr :(
Anyway, I'm also posting the last 3D image i had created of the Tamagotchi V1 characters, there's Mimitchi and Mametchi, enjoy and check back soon.

Familitchi

Welcome Oniontchi, this isn't the best 3D image I've ever done...but it's not that bad nonetheless. Yeah I'm still waiting for Familitchi to come to my country...I feel like I've let you guys down, I've promised to start my Familitchi log this week...but it's not really my fault that the local toy shop is receiving a late consignment of Tamagotchi V5 is it? :( I know that there are so many visitors visiting this blog...and to think that the actual blog hasn't yet started hehe. Well I hope that I'll be getting my Familitchi real soon, probably next week (cross-fingers), and to all those who , like me, are still waiting, hold on this gonna be worth it, trust me ;) CYA!!!!

Familitchi - well nothing to do but wait

Well, as I've written in yesterday's post, the local toy store will be receiving it's consignment of Familitchi next week... :( this wait is taking longer than I thaught. Anyway, Another of my famous 3D images ;) This time it's Hinotamatchi (btw, hinota means fireball in Japanese). Be back soon, and to all those who already have a Familitchi: you guys are soooo lucky!! I can't understand why we still don't have the Tamagotchi V5 in Malta, usually they get here way before the US start selling them. Please leave comments, tell me about your Familitchi, is it good? is it fun?
Oh and here are the US V5 designs...to those wondering: yes I took them from TamaTalk hence the watermark, they're not really theirs to keep since these are designs issued by Bandai America and I'm sure that I'm making them a favor by advertising the really cool design they have to offer ;). I have just emailed Bandai and they should send me a picture of the US designs cos I'm feeling guilty that I took them from Tamatalk. Aanyway, Enjoy!

Familitchi - Any Day Now

Here's Masktchi in 3D...too bad that the pixel version does not look as good as this hehe ;) Masktchi is probably my least favourite of all Tamagotchi characters, you'll get him if you take really bad care of your Tama. Fortunately we won't be seeing him anymore since he wasn't included in the Familitchi characters.
As for my Familitchi...I still don't have them, but I should have them tomorrow...at least I hope so...wish me luck, CYA!

Familitchi - just 2 days left

Another image I created...it's Hanatchi. I love his big nose, I think that this is one of the cutest characters that had been introduced in the Version 1 of Tamagotchi.
And...at the risk of repeating myself: for all those who are new to this site: this is currently a countdown blog for when I get my Familitchis (I'm gonna buy 2 next Tuesday when the local toy-store will get a shipment of these new Bandai pets...at least I hope that they will be available next Tuesday, sometimes they receive late shipments...it's happened before). When I get them you'll be able to read a complete and detailed log of my experience with these awesome new virtual pets. I'll also be posting loads of photos of them...so keep visiting, this is gonna be a huge detailed blog and I'm sure that you'll enjoy it :D

Tamagotchi Familitchi

Another video I found on YouTube. I don't know who posted this, but a big thanks go to him/her for this vid. This is a rather long clip with loads of stuff happening. As you can see the user is using stuff bought from the TV shopping channel. For all those still unfamiliar with the Familitchi, the shop is no longer available, instead you buy things from the shopping channel...I don't know much about this since I haven't got my tamagotchi V5 yet...but I'll be getting 2 of them any time now :D :D. Tamagotchi V5 - no Mimitchi

Another 3D image, this time it's Mimitchi! This character has been a long time favorite, and I know many people who really like this character too. Mimitchi First appeared on the P2 tamagotchi and has appeared on newer versions as well (Tamagotchi version 1 - 4). we won't be seeing Mimitchi anymore since she's been dropped from the Familitchi characters :(
I don't know if I've included this link before...here's a link to tamenagerie with all the V5 characters. Please note that there is a secret Famitama family which is not included in this list. I really like the animations, there's so much going on on the screen. I think that Bandai has put the high resolution to good use on this Tamagotchi. This small video clip has made me want a Familitchi even more !! I can't wait to buy my V5s next week. That's it for today. CYA!

Familitchi log

Here's Oyajitchi! He's been around since the P1 tamagotchi (the original 1997 Tamagotchi). This was a secret character obtainable only from Masukutchi. He was also a secret character of sorts, on the recent versions of Tamagotchi (Version 1- Version 4) and can be obtained by mating the 2 old timers: Otakitchi and Ojitchi. Can anyone tell me if Oyajitchi is a Familitchi character? I don't recall seeing him in any of the V5 character charts I've seen across the internet.

Tamagotchi V5

I have emailed the local toystore (For those living in Malta, you can buy Tamagotchis from Eduline next week) and they told me that they will definitely have received their shipment of Familitchi Tamagotchi early next week...so by today week I'll probably have them!!! YAY! I'll get my camera ready for the big event :D and then I'll post the photos all here for you guys. P.S. Anyway, I've posted 2 images of Tarakotchi...my all time favorite Tamagotchi character, unfortuantely we won't be seeing him on Familitchi :( . The above 3D image was the original image I had made, but then I added Tarakotchi's skateboard. If you have a V1, you will recall that the skateboard was one of the two items obtainable for Tarakotchi. Isn't he cute ;)

Tamagotchi Familitchi

Here's a 3D image of Nazotchi. I seem to recall reading somewhere that Nazo means 'secret' in Japanese. Can anyone verify this? Anyway, Nazotchi was first present in the V1 Tamagotchi as a secret character (but I never got him). He appears every time you connect a Tamagotchi with a previos Version (example a V4 with a V1) and the character that connects is not available on that particular version; for example: you connect a V4 Furawatchi with a V1, when the Furawatch goes onto the V1 it will appear as a Nazotchi since Furawatchis are not V1 characters. Nazotchi is also a character on Familitchi. Hopefully I'll be able to get him this time...when I get my Familitchi...which should be real soon.

Kutchipatchi! Isn't it strange that Kutchipatchi has been around since the very first release of tamagotchi and he's still here?...you'll find him and all his family members on Familitchi / Tamagotchi V5 / Famitama(refer to the image below). Aren't they so cute!!! I like the twin babies best, so sweet :)
Anyway, what do you guys think of the 3D image I made of Kutchipatchi? If you've been looking for an internet pet i've found the Interpets to be quite cute and interesting. click here. I think that they're very similar to tamagotchi V4 / V4.5, with skill points, games, cute animations, shopping and the pet grows every day!! I've started one yesterday and I'm hooked :D

What do you guys think? This character also appears in Familitchi and it also has a complete family of its own. Personally I think that the Memetchi family is the cutest. I'm pondering whether I should buy a tamagotchi V5 from eBay. I'm not sure yet...maybe I should just wait for next week when the local toy store will receive their first shipment of Tamagotchi V5. Tamagotchi V5

You'll find this character on the Familitchi / Tamagotchi V5 as well...actually there's a whole family of Gozarutchis now :D I currently have this character on my V4s right now cos I did not take good care of them. I took bad care of both of them on purpose cos I was trying to get Debatchi (I never had this character). Anyway, enjoy the picture. I'll post another tomorrow.
