for the dating channel you need to keep trying...eventually you will be allowed to get married.
to know if your tamagotchi is a v5.5 you can simply give them something to eat, if 2 servants appear and prepare the food for your tamas than that means that you have a v5.5

Active family just refers to the type of family. There are other types of families, such as the social family. Bonding doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the type of family.
I got mine for christmas! It's awesome! All the codes works for me.The "trick" of turning to 6:59 pm and wait for 1 minute dosen't work.:-( Also, you have to wait for 3 days after you turn to a adult to get to the matchmaker.

Yes iwatchi is a space character. To get the pet you first need to get one of the pure families. And then raise the bonding to 100%. I had written a long post about the pure families and how to get them. You can find it by searching through the archive section on the right near the top of this page.

You have to have one of these guys:
Mametchi, Memetchi, Furawatchi or Kuchipatchi
The bonding level has to be 100%
Marry them off to make a pure family.
If you have Mametchi - marry Chantotchi
If you have Memetchi - marry Mumutchi
If you have Furawatchi - marry Sukatchi
If you have Kuchipatchi - marry Yonepatchi
Raise the bonding level to 100% again.
The pet should stay on the screen when they are grown.
There are 4 different pets--one for each of the four family types.

there's no way that you can make your tamas grow faster.

we know that you hav to get 100% bonding then get a tamasumatchi or a rosetchi to marry royalty...

to get royal family with rosetchi,you must marry another royal tama.ex:prince tamahiko.

This is awsome. I just found out something. If you have an Tamagotchi 5 and the character Watatchi, go to the girls dresser and use it. Watattchi will turn into Makiko.

I was about to clean up a mess that my Tamagotchis had made when my V5 made a noise and the screen blinked. Then, the bonding percentage was a lot higher but the tamagotchis are like babies now! Please help me! I don't know what happened!
It seems that your family has changed into the petite characters. This happens when you don't feed them enough. You can change them back to normal by buying the magnifying glass and using it on them.

sometimes,i just guess the codes.you dont have to memorize the codes on this page,you can just type a few numbers on the specail screen. the first set should always start with a zero,then followed by 7,then any number,then 2 more zeroes.then the second set should always start with 4 then 3,then type any number.if the last number doesnt work,keep pressing button a and b repeatedly.:)

sometimes you can't get particular characters because it is usually a random process. The possible teams with Violetchi/Furawatchi are:
Furikotchi, Violetchi, Nemutchi
Violetchi, Furikotchi, Yonepatchi
And possibly...
Yonepatchi, Nemutchi, Violetchi
The easiest way (to get the first two teams) is posted below. Copying...
"1. Get a baby, and turn them into children.
2. Get any three teens. It doesn't really matter.
3. Use Unchi-Kun, King DVD, and Magokorotchi, as well as Family Training to raise the bonding to 40%-70%.
3a. When you use Training, use the first item instead of the second or third options.
4. If you do everything right, and it has to be pretty good, you should get Violetchi, Furikotchi, and Nemutchi.

getting an iwatchi is so easy!i was looking for a partner for my memetchi in the dating channel,and planetchi appeared!planetchi's offer was a male sunnytchi and i let memetchi marry sunnytchi and when they turn into adults the single egg turned into a female iwatchi.but when i married sunnytchi(now an adult)to a sukatchi,three eggs appeared.it seems that you can only get iwatchi from a male sunnytchi.

I have a SHELLTCHI is that a teenager or an adult? Also is there a cheat that can give you unlimited money? And also
if you debug your tamagotchi will that screw it up? If you dont know what debugging the tama means its where you take off the back (so you see the battery) And then you take off the back so you see the green (?Motherboard i think...) And there is a tiny button that has the word DEBUG above it.Then you press the button and most of the time it lets you pick what charecter you want to be.<>. Does that screw it up?
There was this weird glitch that i tried where I connected My V5 with my V3 and my V3 tamagotchi looked diffrent when it was "inside" playing games in the V5.

to potty train them you have to wait until they are about to poop, (stink lines will appear) and quickly go to the potty button and poof (no more poop!) they are potty trained
P.s. unfortunately you might have to do this a few times for to to work
If your wondering how to use Matchmaker, the family shouldn't be a blended family when you use it, it has to be a specific family (such as the ninja family). THEN you can use the matchmaker. (/^ 0^)/
WOW... i had my v5 for almost a year, and i left it on pause... its too old... 8 yrs T.T and the match maker havent even arived yet...

btw, I figured out how to connect music star tamagotchi(v6) and familitchi(v5). On your v6, go to the connect icon, and select 'music star'. Then, select 'present', 'give', and just choose something random. It doesn't matter. Now, on your v5, select the connect icon and connect like normal. Now, both screens should say 'connect', and when your music star says 'sorry! connect to 'other' to play', you switch to other and let the fun begin(in other words, they will connect!) !
also, you can't do this all the time, and you ALWAYS have to do the above if you want to connect! hope this helps! :)

Hello this is Tori again. And nevermind... I found my problem. The package should be a little more clear, it SAID Tamagotchi Familitchi v5... But it turns out I REALLY have celebrity v5.5 which I find REALLY screwed up and that they should fix it. But whatever and thx anyways. Lol. ^-^
