it is very easy to make a link in the posts on blogger.
First write your whole post (in the blogger editor). If while you are writing your post you decide to make a link, choose a word or phrase that is typical of links, for example: "... i was looking at other blogs about tamagotchis and I found a realy cool blog. click here to view it..." In this sentence i decided to make the words "click here" as a link. So what i would do is to highlight these two words (with your mouse)and choose an option in the post editor (it is on the top of the editor near the font sizes, font types etc) which looks like two chain links on a green planet (if you hover your mouse on it it, after a while it will show the word :"link"). Then you will be given a textbox where you type your link. it's best if you copied the exact link from the site rather then typing it yourself cos if you make a mistake the link won't work.

Hi Sabrina, No unfortunately the Tamagotchi V5 have not arrived in my country yet, can you beleive it? I don't know why, but I suspect that the distributor of Bandai in my country are not going to be getting any Tamagotchis anymore, so they won't be selling them in shops in my country. This might be because there was not much demand for them so the shops will end up with unsold stock so they decide not to order anymore.
Anyway, good luck with the growth chart. Unfortunately I am really really busy lately, with school stuff mostly so I'm not finding the time to do any 3D art. But if I find the time I will try to do something.
Ahh too bad, how do you plan to get your familitchi then? Oh and my growth chart is gone. I accidentily delete it and i cant get it back so i just kinda gave up. Thanks for lettin me use your pics again.

I meant to say that you need to enter the DVD codes (from the DVD) into the section marked "special" from the heart (connect) menu. Let me know if this helped.
my mamethchi married a chantochi and had two daughters and a son that are currently children. when i looked at the first icon it still said blended family! do i need 100 bond percentage to get the pure family? i have read many blogs and they say to have a mamethci marry a chantochi, a memetchi marry a mumutchi, and a violetchi marry a sukatchi. right now i am in my third generation and have never had a pure family. if u can help it is much appreciated!

it takes a really long time for people to find your blog (months) that's why its difficult for many people to maintain an actual blog cos people loose their motivation in making updates when they see that there aren't any people visiting.
Anyway, i am so very busy lately (i hate being busy, i prefer to be laid back and enjoy myself...i guess that makes me lazy hehe) that i'm not finding the time to answer many of the question posted here lately. Christy, yes you need 100 % to get a pure family.
Rememeber:
100 % bond percent to get a pure family
Mametchi + Chantotchi= Mame family
memetchi + Mumutchi= Meme family
Kuchipatchi + Yonepatchi= Kuchipa family
Violetchi + Sukatchi= Flower or violet family.

to twinklehearts to answer your first question, No, you will not get another Sunnytchi as a adult. Unless you marry another Sunnytchi. To answer your other question, copy and paste this on your search bar and then click on the picture.

You will ALWAYS get only 1 egg when you marry a Sunnytchi. If you marry a different Tamagotchi, You might have 1, 2 or 3. It will be random but you will have a better chance to get more than 1. I hope this helps. =D

To give you some more pointers with your blog...make sure that you make frequent updates and mention a lot of important keywords in your posts (like tamagotchi, tamagotchi growth chart etc...) so that google will rank your blogs and people will be able to find your blog. Also you might consider using google analytics on your blog so that you will know how many people are visiting and from which country they're visiting the most. Mostly my blog is visited by people in the U.S. and Britain. To use google analytics just type "google analytics" in your browser and follow the instructions.

Hi sabrina, it seems like you somehow disallowed adding comments to your posts. You need to change the settings. Sign in to your account (from your blog, at the top). then you will be able to click on the customize option (on the top too). then cick on the settings tab and then on the comments link. then there is an option: Who can comment? and choose: anyone. then save the changes and you're done.

Ok so I bought a V5 like 2 weeks ago and they grew into adults. Then just this morning they changed into babies again ! still have all my items money and everything. But i dont know wha happened.
they didn't turn into babies, they just morphed into the underweight/petite characters cos you weren't feeding them enough. But you can turn them back to normal by giving them milk or making them use a magnifying glass.
how long does the matchmaker sleep for?
Uhhmm, the Matchmaker doesn't go to sleep for a certain amount but if you change the time to 6:59 then wait one minute the Matchmaker should be up then. And if you've used up your chances but you haven't got the one you wanted then change the time to 12 pm then to 12 am and then the match maker should be awake

This only works for V4 tamagotchis.
HOW TO GET LOTS OF FREE MONEY!!!
1.Go to Tamatown and go to the food court.
2.Click on tamaburger and as soon as the game starts, press the exit button and go back
to the food court.
3.Then go to the pizza game and make 4 or more pizzas. There is a glitch and you collect
your money and then the 'collect your money' screen will show up again.
4.Keep clicking it until you have 9900 money!
5.Log out and you will have more money!

is it really that way?
and when will it be allowed to marry?
To raise the bonding percent you need to train them. They will call for training during particular times of the day. I wrote a complete comment about this a few weeks ago. Twinklehearts, pure families don’t pass through the toddler and teenager stage. They immediately go to their adult form and get married after 2 days.

ok, i found the following from TamaTalk and since i haven't tried it out I don't know if it will work. Please try it out and let us know if it works:
This will be a quick step-by-step walk through.
1. Get babies, and turn them into children.
2. Get any three teens. It doesn't really matter.
3. Use Unchi-Kun, King DVD, and Magokorotchi, as well as Family Training to raise the bonding to 40%-70%.
4. When you use Training, use the first item instead of the second or third options.
5. If you do everything right, and it has to be pretty good, you should get Violetchi, Furikotchi, and Nemutchi...
Hey Jesmond I dont think that you would get Nemutchi but yes, you would get Violotchi and Furikotchi. It would all depend on the kind of training you give it. The first option ALWAYS will be used toward getting a "Smart(blue)" Tamagotchi" the second option would get you a "cheerful(orange)" Tamagotchi" and the last would make it a bit more "easygoing(green)". There's a pic that shows you EVERYTHING about it. There were 2 more pages but they weren't very important. So heres the first. go to my site:

If you look closely, by the adult tamas it'll say High Med Low The ones across from the word high mean you will have to have 90% bonding-100% to get them. the ones across from the word med mean you have to have at least 50%-70% bonding (i think) and the ones acrosse from the word low mean you will have to have 50% and below. SORRY I DIDNT EXPLAIN VERY WELL THEPIC EXPLAIN BETTER...

I just got my V5 two days ago. I really wnat my kids to evolve into adults already. i want to see the Dating Channel.
There is no way to make your tamagotchi grow faster. it usually takes 2 days to get your tamagotchi to evolve.(exept when its a baby it only takes about 1 hour.)

well this is definatley a glitch. you need to reset your tamagotchi by pressing the reset button on the back. Its the only way to fix the problem. However, if the problem is not fixed you may need to take it back from where you bought it and ask them to give you a new tamagotchi.

apart from the items you can wait for specific times when your tamas will call for attention. this is when you need to use the training option so that you can raise the bonding percentage. How do i get a space family?
hey ! Look, i want to get a space family. HoW do i do??? Please i need help.
I had mentioned how to get a space family in one of my posts. To get a space family you need to do either one of the following:
1. connect two tamagotchi from different parts of the world (they have to be in their adult stage). i.e. for example connect a tamagotchi v5 from europe with a tamagotchi v5 from America.
2. sometimes the matchmaker offers you sunnytchi as a mate. If you choose to marry your tamagotchi v5 with sunnytchi you will get the space family.

Congratulations for getting the space family, i really like the space characters :) I made a 3D growth chart of them...i don't know if you've seen it. you can find it by typing in google: tamagotchi space family.
As you will see in the growth chart I made, your Iwatchi will grow into a Hoshitchi, the one that looks like a star. SOO cute XD

No, teens can't get married, but if you have mukugetchi,potechi and uhyotchi then you can marry one of them since these are adult characters. you don't need to have two tamagotchi V5 units. You can just use the dating channel to marry one of your tamas. I hope this helps.

Family bond shows how much the family has bonded so far. You increase this by doing certain activities (playing games), playing a game with another tamagotchi (by connecting) using certain items (Unchi-kun, the Gotchi King DVD, or Magokorotchi) and they will call you at certain times of the day for training which increases their bonding level. When bonding reaches 100% you will get special animations after you press the C button, depending on which characters you have.

I use a software called TrueSpace 3.2. You can download it free if you just type in google: download TrueSpace 3.2
This software has a large number of tools which you have to become familiar with so it's difficult for me to explain how to do 3D art with truespace. However there are many tutorials online which you can follow to learn how to use TrueSpace.

Yes you can borrow pictures as long as you make a link to this site each time you post a picture somewhere. to take a picture just right click on the picture and choose the save option from the menu. If you are using a MAC then just click on the image and keep holding the mouse button, then drag it onto the desktop or onto another file.

It depends on what blog you are using...are you using blogger0blogspot? if so there is an option (a small icon) in the toolbar above the text area where you type your posts.

to answer the recent questions posted here:
1. tamas evolve in about 2 days (more or less), except for the baby to teen stage which take less.
2. you can't make your tamas evolve faster...you'll have to wait
3. getting mametchi is very random, you can't really follow a particular formula to get him.
4. you can get to generation 3, 4, 5, 6 etc, etc... All you need to do is allow your tamas to get married each time they're adults.
5. there isn't a limit to how many generations you can get
6.after your tamas have babies, they will stay around (the parents), but when the babies grow up their gran parents will leave.
7. you get friends on your tama by connecting to other tamagotchis.
8. Memory...i don't really know actualy...i think that this is for keeping a history of your previous tamas who have died? Like on the V4 and V4.5...I'm not sure. can someone clarify this?

anonymous i can answer your problems too. teenager can evolve in just one day or two days if they are not so happy. then your teen can be an adult!
i know your gonna question me that
when your teen evolve into adult then you go to dating channel and you cant still marry.
the answer:you need one day or few hours to make them marry

hi, sorry for not having answered...I'm not always available during weekends. Here are the answers:
1. As i have said many other times, to get planetchi you need to marry your tamagotchi with another tamagotchi from another parts of the world (example a US V5 with a European V5). Or you can wait for the matchmaker to bring you a Sunnytchi and choose to marry her/him. The resulting baby will be an iwatchi which will eventually grow into a planetchi.
2. Yes you can raise 100% bonding with any characters

And yes, as i mentioned in another comment I will not be able to answer questions during most weekends cos during the summer we move to our summer-house and they haven't installed internet yet over there. HEy jesmond I know i havn't been on lately but i just read the new comments and most of the answers are wrong. (Not your answers.) Not to sound rude.
I have GIANT questions.
1.If you have a pure Mame family and they made 2 eggs. When they turn into teens they are Chamametchi and Mamekatchi but when they are adults will just Mamekatchi turn into Mametchi and Chamametchi shay the same or will they both grow?
2. What does Potetchi turn into as a parent?
If you have 2 eggs and the middle is a girl and the other is a boywill they become a Potetchi and Uhyotchi?

Now to the questions:
1. Tamagotchi is created in Japan but they are mass produced in China.
2.To see which characters grow into which other characters you should check out a V5 growth chart. I had posted one a few months ago. If you search in the archive section you should find it or type : "Tamagotchi V5 growth chart" in google.

tama, to know what stage your tamagotchis are just check out a V5 growth chart. Also, may I remind everyone that there are no swear words allowed here. to get memetchi you have to raise your own young mimitchi or oniontchi and your bonds have to be 80%-100%. when they evolve you get memetchi! to get kutchipatchi you have to raise your own hinotamatchi or itchigotchi then have your bonds to 100% when they evolve you will get kutchipatchi!! i dont know how to get violetchi sorry can you still post the method on how to get pure characters please! thanks bye!! Heres a cool idea to make a cute little house for your tama! You need:
1. card board box big enough for your tama
2.Markers or paints
3.cotton balls
Step 1.Decorate your box with markers or paints
step 2.When your done decorating make a little bed out of cotton and make windows.
Step 3.If you want you can make furniture out of card board and you can make a tama family! I made the mame family.you can put your tamagotchi in too. Tadaaa!! A cute little house for your tama! have fun!!!

Hey Minty! I have a new tamagotchi craft! You need:
A string
some beads
a charm of your choice
And of course your Tama!
1.First cut the string as long as you want
2.tie a knot at the end of the string and string the beads in what ever design you want.
3.put your charm as the last bead and
then tie it to your tamagotchi`s chain.
Tadaa!! now you have a cute charm for your tama! Hope you had fun!!

I dont know what the screen savers look like but go to www.tamagotchi.com and click on fan connection and then click on tama palace (which is at the bottom) then click on goodies then click on screen savers.
I think that what you are referring to is not an actual screen saver but the C- button animation. To see the animation you need to press the C-button. The animation shown depends on the level of bonding you have achieved.

Hi Sabrina, Congratulations on getting the V5.5 so soon. I have contacted Bandai and asked them for more information about the V5.5 so that I can post it here. Mariam, which passwords are you referring to? I think that from the Tama Earth website you can get the items listed above in this post, so the passwords will be the same as the one i posted here.
What i meant was that in the v5 instructions it said that you can get discounts for your items and stuff like that.
I guess you get the discounts from www.tamatown.com right? I'm not really sure about this actually. Can anyone else help?

You cant play with all three characters at once because i think it would be better if one character played in a game to make it more easier for you. I mean one animation is better than three :)

this didnt answer my question i. i didnt want to play with all three at once i just wanted to use one of the other ones. in mine the bell one always does everything. everytime i play a game she is the one who plays it or when i enter a code she is the one who gets the little present thing. im asking why i can ever do anything with either one of the other 2. if there are three why does only one of them do all the stuff the other two are just there.
It's just the way the V5 was programmed...one of the characters is chosen randomly to be the main character to display in animations. You can't do anything about it, if I were you I wouldn't worry about this at all and just continue enjoying the Tamagotchi V5. I wanted to let everyone know that I posted some news regarding the V5.5...please check the post that I made on 9th August 2008 (search from the Archive links on the right side of the screen)
The main character is always in the middle so it does everything. your main character is Belltchi so she does everything. You cant play with the other two their just brothers and sisters. When your tama gets married then the other two characters will leave. I hope i helped. :)

You can get pets by betting pure families But you can only see them during the C animation.
For some reason when I try to enter the codes into the 'special' portion, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?
Also, is there a way to get past the sleeping matchmaker? I don't want to have to wait a long time to marry my tamagotchi.
Make sure that you enter the code exactly the same. To wake the matchmaker you can experiment changing the time of your tamagotchi by pressing the b button to enter clock mode, then press a and c buttons together and change the time, then go check the dating channel again.
hey me and my sister got v5 but they are a little different. like when she feeds her tamas 2 little chefs come and prepare it but it doesnt happen for me. and she has different games and food. and she is on my friends list but her pic is the pic of that tama w/ a hat on. HELP!

Your Tama evolved into a adult and since you didnt feed it enough food the became a small family or a petite family. To get them to be a blended family or a normal family use this code 07200 43499 it will give you some Milk once you use the code. Then you feed the Milk to your Tama's and they'll be back to normal adult tama's. Or you can use this code 07900 43890 it will give you a Magnifing Glass. Use the Magnifing Glass on your Tama's and they'll become normal adult Tama's. I haven't used the Magnifiing Glass yet but I'm SURE it'll work because alot of sites say it.
To get Kizatchi you must have the pure violet family. When they produce eggs they will turn into babies. After an hour they evolve into Violetchi and Kizatchi.

my fav tamagotchis are violetchi and ichigotchi i had a violetchi on my v3 once and i think shes looks cute and i like ichigotchi because her name has ichigo in it (a character from tokyo mew mew) p.s ichigo means strawberry in Japanese!
You can get Memetchi by keeping your bonding level to 80_100% and using cheerful items in training. (The cheerful items are in the middle) I hope i helped! :)
my tamagotchi is taking ages to hatch it has been a month and it still hasnt hatched
Hatching should take only a minute. But first you need to set the time and date. Press the B button to set the time. If you have already set the time but it still won't hatch, then press the reset button on the back of your tama and try again.

Mariam, are you sure that these discounts actually exist? Where did you hear about them? I tried searching for them but I didn't find anything. I think that the discounts refer to the reduced price of the itmes which you can bay from tama earth expo. If you buy the items from your tama unit, they are more expensive, so you are automatically getting discounts each time you buy something from tama earth expo.
is the tamagotchi kikitchi rare?
kikitchi is a teen character in the Royal Famitama (the predecessor of Familitchi in Japan). I don't think that he's exceptionally rare.

oh and to get violetchi you need to train a female tama w/ smart items until it's bond is from 30% to 70%, right? well my tamas are all teenagers right now, and ive been training them w/ smart items. but their bond is 60% already! when they get to 70% do i have to stop training them until they evolve into adults?? Yes to get violetchi you must use smart items and keep your bonding 40_70%. When your bonding is up to 70% stop training them and wait till they evolve into adults. I hope i helped. :)

Minty you wont get a pure family if you marry mumutchi with memetchi. It has to be the other way around. Here is an example:
Mametchi+Chantotchi=Mame family
Memetchi+Mumutchi=Mame family
Kutchipatchi+Yonepatchi=Kutchipa family
Violetchi+Sukatchi=Violet family
