A visitor has pointed out how to get the four pure families. You get them by setting the particular bonding level before your tamas reach adulthood. So here is how you get Mametchi, Memetchi, Furawatchi and Kutchipatchi:
To get Mametchi you need a male Tama and train him with Smart items until you reach 80-100% bonding. If you get 100% bonding, and mate him with Chantotchi you'll have the pure Mame family.
to get Kutchipatchi you need to train a male child with the Easy-Going items until you reach 80-100% bonding. If you get 100% bonding, and mate Kutchipatchi with Yonepatchi., you'll have the pure Kutcipa family.
to get Memetchi you need to train a female child with the Cheerful items until you reach 80-100% bonding. If you get 100% bonding, and mate Memetchi with Mumutchi, you'll have the pure Meme family.
to get Furawatchi/Violetchi you need to train a female child with the smart items until you reach40%-70% bonding. If you get 100% bonding, and mate Furawatchi with Sukatchi, you'll have the pure Violet family.

Here's how to get Pure Families.
Mame Family - get Mametchi (male, train with Smart items, 80-100% bonding), get 100% bonding, and mate him with Chantotchi.
Meme Family - get Memetchi (female, train with Cheerful items, 80-100% bonding), get 100% bonding, and mate her with Mumutchi.
Kuchipa Family - get Kuchipatchi (male, train with Easy-Going Items, 80-100% bonding), get 100% bonding, and mate with Yonepatchi.
Violet Family - get Violetchi (female, train with Smart items, 40-70% bonding), get 100% bonding, and mate with Sukatchi.
to get a Kutchipatchi, use the training item all the way to the left.
To get a Memetchi, use the items on the middle.
To get a Violetchi, use the items all the way to the left and keep bonding between 40%-70%

How to get 1000 tama-points
Sorry for butting in but i know a version 5.5 cheat. It might not work but go into the connection place (heart icon) and go to pc. Once in the login place, press b (second button) then enter this code: 05484 52091. If that doesn't work go on tamatown and win two games in "rescue the earth" game.
