Yesterday, at about 5.00pm I decided to go check on my Tamagotchi v4.5. I had a UraKutchipatchi who had just had a baby girl; now I know that I wasn't taking perfect care of this particular UraKutchipatchi but I was so surprised when I saw that he had died! I had only neglected him for about an hour and a half, surely that's not enough for a tamagotchi to die...once I had forgotten to pause it while I was away at school...and it had survived 9 hours of neglect. Why did this one die? :( I can't remember the last time a Tamagotchi died out on me, probably the last time it happened was when I had the V1s a few years ago. So sad :'(
Anyway, I decided to start a new generation so I pressed the A and C button together and a cute bouncing egg appeared on the screen. I've always loved the egg animation...I decided to make an animation of the hatching sequence...this is my first attempt of making an animation...my brother helped out a bit...what do you think? Not bad right?The above animation may take a while to load. Anyway as you can see, the egg hatched into a baby boy which I named Furby :D
As you might have noticed I've been making some major updates to this site...what do you think of the new header?

Same thing happened to me! It wasn't sick or messy.
Usually baby tamagoctchis die faster than adults. Therefore they can die in less than an hour. Take better care of the babies!!!!!!!!!!
idont now wy, but wen my tamas are babies, they get sick just once. i check my tamas every five seconds, and there always wit me,(except wen i go 2 school)they never get sickwen there older %-(
I had a tamagotchi v4 and he had a son. I found him one day and when I discovered that my father had hidden me, I saw that had just died ... sigh but now I have the V5 and I have 3 adults and between these Makiko! goodbye

i take mine 2 school with me and leave them off pause. once i left my 2 for about 3 hours. 1 had died and the other 1 was still fine. 4 hungry and happy hearts filled up, no messes, nothing. there all different though :-)
