My Tamagotchi V4.5 died

Yesterday, at about 5.00pm I decided to go check on my Tamagotchi v4.5. I had a UraKutchipatchi who had just had a baby girl; now I know that I wasn't taking perfect care of this particular UraKutchipatchi but I was so surprised when I saw that he had died! I had only neglected him for about an hour and a half, surely that's not enough for a tamagotchi to die...once I had forgotten to pause it while I was away at school...and it had survived 9 hours of neglect. Why did this one die? :( I can't remember the last time a Tamagotchi died out on me, probably the last time it happened was when I had the V1s a few years ago. So sad :'(

Anyway, I decided to start a new generation so I pressed the A and C button together and a cute bouncing egg appeared on the screen. I've always loved the egg animation...I decided to make an animation of the hatching sequence...this is my first attempt of making an animation...my brother helped out a bit...what do you think? Not bad right?The above animation may take a while to load. Anyway as you can see, the egg hatched into a baby boy which I named Furby :D
As you might have noticed I've been making some major updates to this site...what do you think of the new header?

Tamagotchi V5 - Iwatchi

Hey y'all! In the above picture is my latest 3D creation: Iwatchi. I included Sunnitchi as well because the last time I posted an image of her I forget to give the proper color to the spikey-things around her head (I guess these represent the sun-rays). Well I fixed her and here she in glorious 3D accompanied by the baby Iwatchi: the rock Tamagotchi...so sweet :) As you already might know, Iwatchi is the baby stage of the Space family on the Tamagotchi V5. I already explained how to get this family in one of my posts. To find it just browse through previous entries in the archive section (on the right-side of this page).
I'm now trying to finnish Hoshitchi and Mikazukitchi which are the other space family characters that I haven't done in 3D yet...I'll be finnishing them soon. So check back :)

Tamagotchi V5 - Group photo

It's been a while since I last posted a 3D image...and I need to apologize yet again for not posting often , it's just that lately I have so much to do, with school assignments mostly. However I haven't forgotten this blog and to make up for my absence I decided to post a group picture of my favorite Tamagotchi V5 characters together. This picture was somewhat difficult to make, mostly because I had to figure out how to place the characters, then I had to edit it with photoshop. I can proudly say that this is my favorite 3D image so far and I decided to place it as my desktop background...so kawaii! :)
The characters you see in the above picture are as follows: On top left-hand corner is Sunnitchi, then in the center cloud, from left to right there is: Belutchi, MemePapatchi, Onputchi and Potetchi. Tamagotchi V5 - Planetchi

Here's Planetchi. You can get Planetchi by obtaining the special space theme family on the Tamagotchi V5. I already made a post about how you can obtain this family. I think that the space family characters are really cute :). What do you think of this image? Came out good huh? I admit it could have been better, but still its not bad. Royal Famitama

In an earlier post I mentioned the Tamagotchi V5.5 and I also posted the above pictures. However I think that I misunderstood the whole thing cos it seems like the above picture is not the V5.5 after all. It's actually a minor update to the current Tamagotchi V5 (like the update from the V4 to the V4.5). The version that you see in the pictures above is called the Royal Iro Iro or Royal Famitama. It's very similar to the V5, The only difference is that it has a 'Royal' theme. It has different characters, different games and it also has slightly different animations, such as 2 servants bring food to your Tamagotchi characters when you select the feeding function. The rest is pretty much the same as the V5. Also the V5.5 will NOT have jobs as many are suggesting. Probably we'll be seeing jobs again in the V6. The Tamagotchi V5.5 is already available for purchase and you can buy it online or from Japan. I've been told that Jason's Store has a stock of these Tamagotchis. I'm not 100% sure if this is the V5.5 which many people have been talking about. Can anyone clarify this please?
EDIT: It's now confirmed that the Royal Famitama is the Japanese version of the V5.5. So for all those who wish to wait, this Tamagotchi will be available in America and Europe pretty soon, probably in July. Tamagotchi V4.5 - Horoyotchi

I ADORE her animations, so detailed and so sweet. I think that she is supposed to be a bottle of Sake (did I pronounce that right?). she looks kind of funny the way she moves and the way she sometimes trips over and falls on her face. Also she alternates the glass she's holding from one hand to the other, I think that this was a nice touch.
Below are some close-up shots I took of Fran. Currently she is still a Horoyotchi, this is mostly due to the fact that I had to pause her a lot these last few days.

Tamagotchi v4.5 - UraYoungMarotchi

It's been quite a while since I last logged about my V4.5, I apologize for that....It's just that things have been so hectic lately, however I've been taking pictures of my V4.5 so I can still give you the 101 on what's been happening: Fran (who was a Hitodetchi in her child stage) morphed into UraYoungMarotchi who is really sweet I must say. All of this character's animations were detailed and incredibly cute. I particularly liked her close-up animation, it's so detailed. It's amazing what the people at Bandai can do with such a small resolution: Fran has now grown into a Horoyotchi, unfortunately, the photos I took of her came out a bit blurred because of the light. So I'll be taking better pictures of her tomorrow and posting them here. So...check back soon :)

Tamagotchi V5 - Papamametchi

This was by far the most difficult 3D Tamagotchi I've ever made...it had loads of tiny details which were rather tricky to make, particularly the tie-area. I have to say that I'm rather pleased with the outcome...it looks very close to the original:

Also I need to apologize for not logging about my V4.5 lately, however I've been taking loads of pictures of it and I should be able to post them rather soon, so check back soon.

This is my latest 3D creation. This character goes by three different names: Furawatchi, Leaftchi and Violetchi. I have never really understood why this particular character received 3 different names although I do remember seeing her being depicted in green rather than pink. So maybe one of the three names is referring to another character which is different from the Furawatchi shown here. Can anyone clarify this mystery? Anyway, this character's official name is Furawatchi (I'm referring to the one seen on the Tamagotchi V5 and depicted here). Below is the original 2D picture of Furawatchi.
Now, about my V4.5: Since my last post, Linus the Celebtchi had a baby girl. This morning at 12.00am, Linus left to TamaTown. I didn't catch the leaving animation unfortunately.
I named Linus' daughter Fran. here's a picture of her as a baby: An hour later, Fran grew into a Hitodetchi.
