Tamagotchi V5 - no Mimitchi

Another 3D image, this time it's Mimitchi! This character has been a long time favorite, and I know many people who really like this character too. Mimitchi First appeared on the P2 tamagotchi and has appeared on newer versions as well (Tamagotchi version 1 - 4). we won't be seeing Mimitchi anymore since she's been dropped from the Familitchi characters :(
I don't know if I've included this link before...here's a link to tamenagerie with all the V5 characters. Please note that there is a secret Famitama family which is not included in this list. It includes characters with a space theme. I'll try to find pictures of them, if I do i'll post them. CYA! :)

I really like the animations, there's so much going on on the screen. I think that Bandai has put the high resolution to good use on this Tamagotchi. This small video clip has made me want a Familitchi even more !! I can't wait to buy my V5s next week. That's it for today. CYA!

Familitchi log

Here's Oyajitchi! He's been around since the P1 tamagotchi (the original 1997 Tamagotchi). This was a secret character obtainable only from Masukutchi. He was also a secret character of sorts, on the recent versions of Tamagotchi (Version 1- Version 4) and can be obtained by mating the 2 old timers: Otakitchi and Ojitchi. Can anyone tell me if Oyajitchi is a Familitchi character? I don't recall seeing him in any of the V5 character charts I've seen across the internet.
And...at the risk of repeating myself: for all those who are new to this site: this is currently a countdown blog for when I get my Familitchis (I'm gonna buy 2 next week when the local toy-store will get a shipment of these new Bandai pets). When I get them you'll be able to read a complete and detailed log of my experience with these awesome new virtual pets. I'll also be posting loads of photos of them...so keep visiting, this is gonna be a huge detailed blog and I'm sure that you'll enjoy it :D

Tamagotchi V5

I have emailed the local toystore (For those living in Malta, you can buy Tamagotchis from Eduline next week) and they told me that they will definitely have received their shipment of Familitchi Tamagotchi early next week...so by today week I'll probably have them!!! YAY! I'll get my camera ready for the big event :D and then I'll post the photos all here for you guys. P.S. Anyway, I've posted 2 images of Tarakotchi...my all time favorite Tamagotchi character, unfortuantely we won't be seeing him on Familitchi :( . The above 3D image was the original image I had made, but then I added Tarakotchi's skateboard. If you have a V1, you will recall that the skateboard was one of the two items obtainable for Tarakotchi. Isn't he cute ;)

Tamagotchi Familitchi

Here's a 3D image of Nazotchi. I seem to recall reading somewhere that Nazo means 'secret' in Japanese. Can anyone verify this? Anyway, Nazotchi was first present in the V1 Tamagotchi as a secret character (but I never got him). He appears every time you connect a Tamagotchi with a previos Version (example a V4 with a V1) and the character that connects is not available on that particular version; for example: you connect a V4 Furawatchi with a V1, when the Furawatch goes onto the V1 it will appear as a Nazotchi since Furawatchis are not V1 characters. Nazotchi is also a character on Familitchi. Hopefully I'll be able to get him this time...when I get my Familitchi...which should be real soon.

Kutchipatchi! Isn't it strange that Kutchipatchi has been around since the very first release of tamagotchi and he's still here?...you'll find him and all his family members on Familitchi / Tamagotchi V5 / Famitama(refer to the image below). Aren't they so cute!!! I like the twin babies best, so sweet :)
Anyway, what do you guys think of the 3D image I made of Kutchipatchi? I would appreciate some feedback, pls leave comments :) I'm also so happy to see that there are so many visitors to this site, and glad to see that my work is being appreciated world wide. If you've been looking for an internet pet i've found the Interpets to be quite cute and interesting. click here. I think that they're very similar to tamagotchi V4 / V4.5, with skill points, games, cute animations, shopping and the pet grows every day!! I've started one yesterday and I'm hooked :D

What do you guys think? This character also appears in Familitchi and it also has a complete family of its own. Personally I think that the Memetchi family is the cutest. I'm pondering whether I should buy a tamagotchi V5 from eBay. I'm not sure yet...maybe I should just wait for next week when the local toy store will receive their first shipment of Tamagotchi V5. Another 3D pic tomorrow. Only a few days left for me to get a familitchi and I'll blog all about it here!! cya.

Tamagotchi V5

As promised here is another 3D image I created: Gozarutchi!! You'll find this character on the Familitchi / Tamagotchi V5 as well...actually there's a whole family of Gozarutchis now :D I currently have this character on my V4s right now cos I did not take good care of them. I took bad care of both of them on purpose cos I was trying to get Debatchi (I never had this character). Anyway, enjoy the picture. I'll post another tomorrow. Unfortunately I can't buy anything online since I made a vow to myself that I wouldn't get a credit card...or else I use up all my money on stuff that I'be been wanting to buy online. Familitchi...still waiting

Yeah I'm still waiting for Familitchi...why is it that time seems to slow down when you're waiting for something? Anyway I've just read that Familitchi will have more than 65 Characters!!! Wow. You can see them by clicking here.
Anyway, as promised I have included another of the 3D Tamagotchi pictures I had created a few years ago. This time It's Young Mimitchi. I think this picture came out great :D. I'll post another picture tomorrow.

Familitchi release date

While in some countries, like the UK and Australia, people can already buy the new V5 tamagotchi, many other countries are still waiting...and Malta (where I live) is one of the latter countries. Anyway, the release date for Tamagotchi V5 in Malta is 4th February...I don't know about other countries...man I can't wait!!! Personally I think that this version will be the best release of Tamagotchi YET, It's got the biggest resolution ever seen on any Tamagotchi yet...and there are so many characters.

The picture above was made by me a few years ago when I was experimenting with a 3D software (click on the image to see a larger version of it), You might have seen this and other pictures of tamas in 3D on TamaTalk. I had also gave permission to a Tamatalk user (Bellsprout) to post them on his/her website (click here to visit the website). Well now that I have my own website I'll be posting them here. I have made all the characters from the Version 1 tamagotchi except the old timers (Ojitchi and Otakitchi) I'll post one every day so make sure to visit ;)

Tamagotchi collection

As promised here is a picture of all the Tamagotchis I have right now. The top 4 are version one, the next 3 are version two, third row is version 3, and the fourth row are V4s (they're currently running). The bottom one is an original P1 from 1997 (the one that started it all ;D). These are all European versions except the top left one (V1) which is a US version I had won from an online competition on TamaTalk. I do not have any v4.5s since they never made their way to Malta :(
3 weeks from now and I'll have 2 Familitchi Tamagotchis joining the family.

Tamagotchi V5 - Video Preview

I found the following video of a Familitchi on youtube. Note that this is an Australian version. The Aussies got the same designs as Japan (with the difference that they don't have the lock and key and the language is English). Anyway enjoy the preview of Tamagotchi V5. Tamagotchi V5 - US Designs

Just a quick post...for those living in America and who still don't know: Bandai America has finally released the designs that will be available in US stores. I found these on TamaTalk. To see them just click here. As always there is a bigger selection of designs in America (12 for now) than in any other country. Personally I think that the colors are a bit too flashy, I like the simpler colors released in Europe and Japan.
On a different note, I'll soon be posting a photo of my whole collection of Tamagotchis so check back soon. I know that this blog is a bit dry for now, seeing as I still don't have my Familitchi yet, but I promise that once I get them I will treat you with loads of photos and details. Till then ...cya :D

Tamagotchi V5

I have sent an email to the local toy store from where I usually buy my Tamagotchis and for once they have responded back. I asked them when they will start selling the Tamagotchi V5. This is what they told me:

Yes a new consignment of the tamagotchi V5 should reach our stores early next month

So that means that I'll have Tamagotchi V5 in in about 3 weeks from now :D I can't wait !!!! Anyway I've thought it over and I've decided that i'll be buying the black design with the Gozarutchi figurine and the white one that has the Mametchi figurine. Here they are:

Familitchi, V5 or Famitama...call it whatever you want, It's finally here in both Europe and America (As well as Japan obviously). Familitchi is the latest installment of the popular virtual pet from bandai: Tamagotchi. I haven't got mine yet but i'm soon gonna get two and I will blog to my hearts content about them ;). I'll post loads and loads of pictures of them so you will all be able to enjoy them with me.
